PITT OHIO Wins 3 Logistics Management LTL Quest for Quality Awards

PITT OHIO announced today the receipt of 3 Logistics Management Quest for Quality Awards in the categories of Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regional LTL, Truckload and Expedite. The Quest for Quality Awards are the gold standard for customer satisfaction and performance excellence for carriers, ports, and logistics providers worldwide. 

For the twenty-fourth time, PITT OHIO has earned a spot in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regional LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) category.  PITT OHIO’s expedite service, Fast Track, earned a spot for the 11th time among national carriers.  ECM TRANSPORT, PITT OHIO’s sister truckload carrier, earned a spot on the list for the 3rd time. 

These 2018 awards bring PITT OHIO’s overall grand total to 39 Quest for Quality Awards in the categories of Regional LTL, National LTL, Expedited and Truckload.  

Logistics Management’s (LM) Annual Quest for Quality Awards is the culmination of a six-month research project conducted by Peerless Research Group (PRG).  For more than three decades, LM’s Quest for Quality has been regarded in the transportation and logistics industry as the most important measure of customer satisfaction and performance excellence.

About the Quest for Quality Awards
To determine the best of the best, LM readers—logistics, transportation and supply chain decision makers—rate carriers, third-party logistics (3PL) service providers and U.S. port operators strictly on the basis of service quality. One of the most notable elements about the Quest for Quality Awards is that it calls these shippers to vote in the genre of services they actually use; in turn, they vote for the providers that they think have best delivered on quality service in specific niches. 

This year, LM had 4,500 logistics and supply chain decision makers cast their votes resulting 138 transportation and logistics services providers who earned Quest for Quality gold.
