Eastman Chemical Company Supplier Excellence Award PITT OHIO EXPRESS has been named a recipient of the Eastman Excellence Award from Eastman Chemical Company for the third year in a row. PITT OHIO EXPRESS Named Recipient of 2008 DataFlux Customer Appreciation Award PITT OHIO EXPRESS was named the annual Customer Appreciation Award recipient by DataFlux, A SAS Company. PITT OHIO EXPRESS RECEIVES RECOGNITION FROM TRANSPORTATION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION PITT OHIO EXPRESS was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) at their Regional Conference. This Certificate of Recognition was the first of its kind and no other organization attending the conference held at the US Department of Homeland Security received one. QUEST FOR QUALITY AWARD PITT OHIO wins Logistics Management Magazine's Quest for Quality Award for the fourteenth time in the regional less than truckload category and is also a fourth time winner in the expedited division. PITT OHIO EXPRESS Named as 2008 Value Chain Gold Award Winner - As seen in... M2M Magazine recognized PITT OHIO EXPRESS as a Gold Award Winner in the Fleet Management category for the 2008 Value Chain Awards. PITT OHIO received this honor as a result of their innovative use of technology for the electronic connectivity of data between the PeopleNet mobile computing solution and PITT OHIO's internal systems. PITT OHIO EXPRESS Veteran Drivers Win First Place Honors at the Maryland Truck Driving Championships PITT OHIO EXPRESS is pleased to announce two of its veteran drivers, David Winebrenner and Mike Miltenberger, placed first in their respective categories in the Maryland Truck Driving Championships. David Winebrenner placed first in the Straight Truck category for the second year in a row and Mike Miltenberger placed first in the 5-axle category. PITT OHIO Wins Transportation Sales and Marketing Association (TSMA) Communication Awards PITT OHIO EXPRESS was honored for its marketing efforts at this year's TSMA Conference held in Phoenix, AZ. PITT OHIO was honored with two first place awards in the Marketing Campaign and Sales Literature categories and three third place awards in the Website, Sales Literature and Specialty Items categories. The PITT OHIO Marketing Campaign was also voted as Best in Show at the event.

PITT OHIO won the award based on our innovative use of the PeopleNet product, the data integration into our internal systems and the process we built around the product to ensure a successful implementation. PITT OHIO WINS GARTNER CRM EXCELLENCE AWARD PITT OHIO EXPRESS received the 2004 Gartner CRM Excellence Award in October of last year. EI DuPont is recognized as a leader in industrial safety throughout the entire world, making this recognition for PITT OHIO extremely notable. This award is given to a core carrier that exhibits excellent on-time service along with no distribution incidents being charged to the carrier throughout the year. This is the fourth time overall PITT OHIO has been given this award by EI DuPont. ITW Construction Products Choice Partner Award PITT OHIO was named as one of ITW Construction Products Choice Partners for 2005. Choice Partner Carriers must maintain an average score of between 90 - 94 on a monthly basis and PITT OHIO ranked third highest on the list. TSMA 2005 Communication Awards 1st place Public Relations The Transportation Sales and Marketing Association awarded PITT OHIO with a communication award in the Public Relations category in 2005 for a feature in the April issue of Smart Business Magazine, a Pittsburgh publication. PITT OHIO's owner, Chuck Hammel was featured talking about Trucks, Time and Technology in the LTL industry today. TSMA 2005 Communication Awards 2nd place Specialty Items The Transportation Sales and Marketing Association awarded PITT OHIO a communication award for a specialty item, the 25th Anniversary sweatshirt, that was developed in celebration of PITT OHIO's 25th year in business. Traffic World 2005 Advertising Achievement Award PITT OHIO was recognized by Traffic World Magazine for having an excellent advertisement based on a readership survey conducted by the publication.
