Pittsburgh, PA (February 6, 2009) - PITT OHIO EXPRESS announces enhanced transit times to the Louisville, KY through The Reliance Network (TRNET).
PITT OHIO EXPRESS will now be able to service the Louisville, KY market next-day from the following terminals: Pittsburgh, PA., Washington, PA., West Middlesex, PA., Cleveland, OH., Cincinnati, OH., Columbus, OH., Toledo, OH., and Indianapolis, IN. Geoff Muessig, CMO and Executive Vice President of PITT OHIO EXPRESS said, "PITT OHIO has successfully worked with Averitt Express to reduce transit times between Kentucky and Ohio by integrating segments of our linehaul operation. This service enhancement will enable TRNET customers to enjoy next-day LTL between major markets in Kentucky and Ohio, western Pennsylvania and Indianapolis, Indiana. In 2009, PITT OHIO will strengthen its next-day service offerings for customers by working with Averitt and other TRNET carriers to also reduce transit times to major markets in Illinois, North Carolina, and New York."
